What type of property maintenance can you undertake? Pretty much all handyman jobs – everything from putting up pictures and curtain rails, plumbing repairs to fitting a bathroom or landscaping a garden. Do you guarantee your work? All new work is guaranteed for 12 months. My reputation is everything, so customer satisfaction is extremely important to me. All of my business is generated by word of mouth and some recent customer feedback comments can be found on my Testimonials page.
How do you charge? I am happy to provide free, no obligation estimates arranged at a mutually convenient time, whether during the day or in the evenings. I can be booked on an hourly , half day or full day basis or on a fixed price for a complete project.
Who will carry out the work? I will undertake most of the work myself. I am not a qualified electrician or gas safe engineer, however, I am able to arrange for this work to be done by a qualified and competent person and will include the cost of this in any estimate that I provide you with.
Do you work weekends or evenings? Most work is completed during the working day, Monday to Friday. Generally I do not work during the weekends.
What areas do you cover? Most of my clients live within a 10 mile radius of Fareham. Occasionally, I work for clients outside this area, however in these cases, I do need to factor in the additional costs of fuel etc – but it is still worth enquiring to see if I can help.....
How can I pay? On completion of the project, you can pay by cash or preferably by internet bank transfer.
Are you insured? Yes, I have public liability insurance up to £1000,000. A schedule of insurance can be seen on request.
Do you give fixed appointment times? I try to be as accommodating as I can with appointment times and keep you informed of my expected arrival time.
Do you take away rubbish, packaging and boxes? I generally suggest that small amounts of packaging, cardboard etc can be disposed of in your normal household dustbin. For larger projects, I normally arrange for a skip of a suitable size to be delivered to your home and of course include the cost of this on the estimate that I provide. I can also provide you with details of licensed waste carriers who can also help.
